How Volleyball Stat Sheets Started
The Volleyball Stat Sheets Excel worksheet began as a
solution for High School and Club volleyball teams in the state of Colorado.
After searching for existing software, we were unable to find a
simple product that was within our very limited budget and provided
the functions that we needed. As a statistician and coach, I decided
to create my own custom solution to provide the information needed
for our volleyball teams and the local newspapers. The Colorado High School
Activities Association (CHSAA) requirements were used as the model
for match setup. However,
the worksheet needed to be flexible enough to use within the scope of
the Rocky
Mountain Region (RMR) Volleyball Juniors tournaments.
Therefore, the product was designed with CHSAA in mind, yet with stat
sheet match tabs that can be renamed to suit the needs of other schools,
clubs or leagues.
Volleyball Stat Sheets was subsequently updated with a rich set of new features
to align with Collegiate and NCAA Statistics guidelines. Please check out
